研究発表募集要項 (Call for Presentations)

日本語用論学会第24回大会は、12月18日(土)、19日(日)に東北大学（宮城県仙台市）
での開催となります（事情により会場に来られない発表者のリモート発表を認める予定です）。
ただし、社会状況を考慮して、全面オンライン開催に変更する可能性もあります。詳細は、
学会ホームページの「次の年次大会」をご覧ください。
研究発表の応募は、学会ホームページの「マイページ」（会員専用ページ）から行ってく
ださい。投稿締切は、８月31日(火)です。
The 24th Annual Meeting of Pragmatics Society of Japan is to be held at Tohoku University (Sendai, Miyagi) on Saturday, December 18 and Sunday, December 19, 2021. (Online presentations may be allowed for presenters who cannot come to the venue due to reasonable reasons.) The meeting may be held entirely online depending on a social situation. For more details, please refer to the next annual meeting page.
Applications for presentations can be submitted on the “My Page” (members-only page) in the society website. The submission deadline is on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

投稿規定 (Submission guideline)
1. 申し込み資格 (Eligibility)
口頭発表・ポスター発表の第一発表者、ワークショップの代表者として発表を申し込むに
は会員である必要があります。入会方法は、「新規入会」のページを参照してください。
Applications for oral or poster presentation and those for workshops as representatives must be members of the society. To join the society, please fill out the necessary information on the “Membership registration” page.

2. 発表について (Presentations)
2.1. 発表形態と時間 (Presentation types and time)
・ 口頭発表： 発表25分＋質疑応答10分
・ ポスター発表： 1時間（掲示時間）
・ ワークショップ： 1時間40分
司会者を含めて3名以上の団体であること
＊海外に在住していて入国できない、基礎疾患などを抱えていて外出を制限しているなど
の事情により現地に来られない方は、採択時に申告していただき、正当な理由と認めら
れれば、オンラインでの発表を認めることとします。
＊社会状況を考慮して、全面オンライン開催となる可能性があります。その場合、発表方法
が変更となりますので、予めご承知おきください。
- Oral presentation: 25 minutes for presentation + 10 minutes for Q&A
- Poster presentation: 1 hour (display time)
- Workshop: 1 hour 40 minutes
The group must have at least three members including the chairperson.
* If you live abroad and cannot enter Japan, or if you are restricted from going out and cannot come to the venue, please contact the presentation committee after receiving notification of acceptance. The online presentation will be allowed if the presentation committee judges the reason to be legitimate.
* The meeting may be held entirely online depending on a social situation. In this case, please be kindly reminded that the presentation style will be changed.

研究発表の応募は、「マイページ」（会員専用ページ）から行ってください。投稿受付
ページは、7月1日(木)から稼働予定です。投稿締切は、８月31日(火)です。

2.4. 申し込み原稿 (Submission manuscript)
発表内容の要旨をファイルにまとめて申し込んでください。発表の種類にかかわらず、申
し込み原稿はすべて同じ形式です。規定から逸脱した形式やファイル形式で応募した場合、
不採用となることがあります。
Please submit an abstract of your presentation in a file. All submissions must be in the same format, regardless of the type of presentation. Please note that an abstract submitted in a format or file format that deviates from the guidelines may be rejected.
2.4.1. 申し込み原稿の形式 (Manuscript format)
用紙サイズ： A4縦
規定文字数： 日本語2,500字以内、英語500 words 以内。日本語の場合は文字数を、
英語の場合はword数を、原稿の末尾に記入してください。
ファイル形式： Microsoft Word形式 (doc、docx)、PDF形式(pdf)
＊氏名と所属は記入しないでください。
＊発表タイトルを1行目に、タイトルの後を1行空け、次の行から本文を記入してください。
＊ワークショップの場合は、規定文字数に全員分の要旨が収まるようにまとめてください。
＊文字数とword数には、例文、表、キャプション、注釈を全て含みます。ただし、図形内
のオブジェクトに添えられた文字や参照文献は含みません。日本語原稿の中にアルファ
ベット等の半角文字を含む場合、半角文字2文字を1字と数えます。
＊参照文献の書式は『語用論研究』に準じます。
Paper size: A4 portrait
Maximum number of words: 2,500 characters in Japanese, or 500 words in English. Please indicate the number of characters for Japanese or the number of words for English at the end of the manuscript.
File format: Microsoft Word format (doc, docx), PDF format (pdf)
* Please do not write your name and affiliation.
* The title of the presentation should be on the first line, leaving one line after the title, and the text should begin on the next line.
* In the case of a workshop, please make sure that the abstracts of all participants fit within the specified number of characters or words.
* The number of characters or words includes all examples, tables, captions, and notes, but not letters attached to objects in figures or references. If your Japanese manuscript contains single-byte characters such as alphabets, two single-byte characters are counted as one character.
* The references style should follow the format of Studies in Pragmatics.
2.4.2. 申し込み原稿の留意事項 (Notes on an abstract)
申し込み原稿には表現や構成のわかりやすさと説明の一貫性が求められます。また、以下
のような点について過不足なく論じる必要があります。
・ 問題となる現象
・ その現象についての先行研究と問題点
・ 現象の分析に用いるデータ
・ 現象の分析方法と結果
・ 分析結果に基づく結論と理論的含意
An abstract is required to have clarity of expression and organization and consistency of explanation. In addition, the following points should be discussed without excess or deficiency.
- The research phenomenon to be studied
- The previous studies of the phenomenon and their problems
- Data used to analyze the phenomenon
- Analysis methods and results of the phenomenon
- Conclusions and theoretical implications based on the analysis results
2.5. 申し込み制限 (Limitations)
一人の会員が発表者として申し込みできるのは、一大会につき2件までです（ワーク
ショップを含む）。かつ、第一発表者、または、ワークショップの代表者として申し込み
ができるのは1件に限られます。
A member may submit a maximum of two presentations per meeting (including workshops). Also, a member may only apply for one presentation as a first presenter or as a representative of a workshop.
2.6. 二重投稿の禁止 (Prohibition of duplicate submission)
口頭発表・ポスター発表・ワークショップへの発表申し込みにおいて、二重投稿を禁止し
ます。大会委員会が二重投稿と認めた場合、その申し込みを受理しません。かつ、次年度
の大会においても当該者を発表者に含む申し込みは受理しません。
＊二重投稿とは、他の学会で既に発表した、もしくは発表を申し込み中である内容、また
は、既に学術的刊行物に掲載された、もしくは投稿中である論文と極めて類似する内容
で申し込みをすることを指します。
＊学士論文・修士論文・博士論文は、公表や出版がされていない場合、「学術的刊行物」
には含めません。
＊既に学会の発表や学術的刊行物への応募で不採択が決定している内容での申し込みは、
二重投稿に含めません。
Double submissions are prohibited for oral presentations, poster presentations, and workshops. If the presentation committee finds that an application has been submitted as a double submission, the application will not be accepted. In addition, any application that includes the author as a presenter will not be accepted for the next year's meeting.
* A double submission is defined as an application for a proposal with content that is very similar to that presented or proposed for presentation at another conference, or that has already been published in academic publications or is being submitted for a journal article.
* A bachelor’s thesis, master’s thesis, or doctoral dissertation is not included in “academic publications” if it has not been published or presented.
* If the content of the application has already been rejected for presentation at another conference or for submission to an academic publication, it will not be included in the double submission.
3. 選考結果 (Notification of acceptance)
選考結果は、10月上旬に第一発表者宛に通知します。
Notification of acceptance will be sent to the first author in early October.
4. No Showに対する措置 (Actions for unexcused absences, “No Show”)
発表が採択されたにもかかわらず、大会当日に大会運営委員会に無断で発表を行わない
場合やポスターの掲示のみで説明を行わない場合は、これらを「No Show」とみなし、学会
ホームページにて公表します。ただし、事前、または、当日に（やむをえない場合には事後に）、
発表を行えない（行えなかった）合理的な事情の説明がある場合には、「キャンセルされた
発表」とします。
If an abstract is accepted but the presenter does not give a presentation on the day of the meeting without contacting the presentation committee or only displays a poster but does not give an explanation, these will be regarded as “No Show.” The name of the author(s) will be announced on the society website. However, if there is a reasonable explanation in advance or on the day of the meeting (or afterward if it is unavoidable) as to why the presentation cannot be made (or was not made), it will be considered “a cancelled presentation.”
